Katekyo Hitman Reborn! is a manga written and illustrated by the mangaka Akira Amano . It started as a short story published in the magazine Shōnen Jump in Issue 51 , 2003 , this story was used as a pilot for the manga that began in April 2004 in the same journal and ended on November 7, 2012 with 408 chapters published in total. On October 7, 2006 animated manga adaptation by Artland premiered in TV Tokyo Japanese television company .
The story follows Tsunayoshi "Tsuna " Sawada and his "family" in its mission to become the tenth boss of the Vongola Family.
It is published in Spain by Planet DeAgostini entitled Tutor Hitman Reborn! . Viz Media licensed the series and printed the first volume in the U.S. in October 2006 ; titling "Reborn" they remove the " Katekyo Hitman" title for unknown reasons.
As a synopsis , Katekyo Hitman Reborn! Sawada Tsunayoshi addresses , called Tsuna to dry , is a normal boy until his relative Timoteo ( 9th Chief Family - mafia boss Vongola - ) tells that he is going to be his successor. For Tsuna be apt for the moment when he's be the 10th Chief, sends home a personal tutor named "Reborn" to help him be a good Mafia boss thanks to a special weapon from the Vongola family, that weapon help him sometimes continue his normal life in one piece . It was serialized in the Japanese magazine Weekly Shonen Jump Shūkan volume 26 , since May 31, 2004 and is still in curse.4 individually published chapters in collective volumes and the April 30, 2010 , twenty-nine volumes were published. The series has been licensed for release in English for North America by Viz Media. The first volume was released on 3 October 20066 and volume 16 was released on 6 July 2010. Katekyo Hitman Reborn! It is also licensed in German by Tokyopop , and in French by Glénat. . In 2007 Spain arrives in labor Planet DeAgostini publishing until volume 18 of the manga, the anime is not translated into Spanish officially.
An official character book titled Katekyo Hitman Reborn! was released on October 4, 2007 in Japan. It is based on the manga and covers the 77 incidents that happened since Reborn arrived at the Sawada household . The book also reveals profiles of major characters including birthdays and favorites. Short stories not shown in the manga are also included in the book, along with color posters drawn by Amano.10 The April 2, 2010 , the first artbook series , titled Reborn Colore , was put on freedom.
